James Franco is a Renaissance man. It seems there is nothing he can’t do. He’s also fearless, which is why the Oscar-nominated actor just couldn’t turn down a dare from his brother, Dave. And that means we have one sweet video of him belting out Justin Bieber’s “Sorry” in a supermarket aisle.

“My brother challenged me to sing in public,” wrote Franco, 38, on his Instagram video post. Once he and his two backup singers/friends found the perfect spot to perform (was he seeking a large audience, or a nonexistent one?), he put his hands on his hips and began to to (stiffly) dance and sing.

My brother challenged me to sing in public. I dare @mastergia , @spagettyos , and @ahnaoreilly to #FINDYOURNERVE

He then challenged pals Gia Coppola, Jacqui Getty, and ex-girlfriend Ahna O'Reilly to follow suit: “#FINDYOURNERVE”

This may have marked the first time Franco has ever sang in a public space, but in a Saturday Night Live skit skewering NBC’s Peter Pan Live! TV musical, we were treated to him mocking Christopher Walken’s nonsinging performance and catatonic dance numbers as Hook.

The real thing wasn’t quite that bad.

Regardless, we’re sure a musical is in Franco’s future.
