James Ehlers launches campaign for Vermont governor
Candidate for Vermont governor James Ehlers kicked off his campaign on Tuesday before a crowd of supporters.
The event was held at the Historic Old Labor Home in Barre.
Ehlers called it a fitting location, as he’s running on a promise to support every Vermonter -- calling for raising the minimum wage, universal primary care, and cleaning up Vermont’s most polluted waterways.
When it comes to gun rights in Vermont, Ehlers said we have a long way to go on the controversial topic -- ensuring people feel safe while still making sure their rights are not being infringed upon.
