James Corden is glorious as Taylor Swift's new backup dancer

On The Late Late Show, James Corden stepped in as the general manager at the Forum during the iHeartRadio Jingle Ball concert, where he got to oversee all the behind-the-scenes operations for his popular “Take a Break” segment.

During his shift, Corden got a chance to be Ed Sheeran’s new bodyguard, Niall Horan’s personal masseuse, and Demi Lovato’s emotional support system. But being Taylor Swift’s stand-in backup dancer was definitely his strong suit.

Dressed in a snake logo crop top over a fishnet top, which barely covered anything, Corden learned the choreography to Swift’s latest hit, “Look What You Made Me Do”, and his dance moves were glorious. Corden even helped T-Swift and her squad with some vocal warm-ups as he attempted to get Swift to sing her own name in a “Taylor” harmony.

While the feelings between Swift and Corden may not have been mutual, at least he was able to shake it off when Swift revealed that her favorite “James” is James Franco. Oops!

The Late Late Show With James Corden airs weeknights at 12:37 a.m. on CBS.
