He may have finally wiped the egg off his face.

James Corden on Monday addressed his on-and-off feud with Balthazar owner Keith McNally after the “Late Late Show” host’s alleged “abusive” behavior saw him temporarily banned from the New York City restaurant.

“Things are gonna get written about me, ‘Never complain, never explain’ is very much my motto. ... Look, when you make a mistake, you gotta take responsibility,” began Corden, noting that he recently took a trip to Balthazar, which he dubbed “one of my absolute favorite restaurants.”

Though his wife told the server about her “serious food allergy,” Corden said she was brought the food in question. Thankfully, she hadn’t eaten it and just sent it back.

“As her meal came wrong to the table the third time, in the heat of the moment, I made a sarcastic, rude comment about cooking it myself,” he said. “It is a comment I deeply regret. ... I worked shifts at restaurants for years. I have such respect and I value anyone that does such a job.”

McNally early last week slammed Corden as “the most abusive customer” in the restaurant’s 25 years. McNally subsequently lifted his ban, praising Corden for calling to apologize — which the Brit told viewers left him feeling like they’d managed “to clear the air.”

After Corden told the New York Times last week that he hadn’t “done anything wrong,” McNally accused him of lying and implored him to “at least admit he did wrong.

“If he goes one step further and apologized to the 2 servers he insulted, I’ll let him eat for free at Balthazar for the next 10 years,” continued McNally.

“Because I didn’t shout or scream, like I didn’t get up out of my seat, I didn’t call anyone names or use derogatory language, I’ve been walking around thinking around that I hadn’t done anything wrong. But the truth is, I have,” Corden said Monday, noting the jab was “rude,” “wrong,” “unnecessary” and “ungracious to the server.”

Corden said if permitted entry to Balthazar again, he would like to, “go there and apologize in person, which is something I will absolutely do.”
