Jada Pinkett Smith’s Mom Is 63 and Has Rock-Hard Abs
Jada Pinkett Smith‘s mother, Adrienne Banfield-Jones, got special attention on Mother’s Day, and not just for having a celebrity daughter. All eyes were on the 63-year-old, who stepped out in a belly-baring crop top that showed off abs that would be impressive at any age.
Jaden may have been wearing an on-trend Misfits T-shirt and Willow pairing socks with sandals, but fans couldn’t stop talking about Grandma’s abs. Can you blame them?

As B. Scott shared on Instagram, the Pinkett Smiths had Mother’s Day dinner together in Malibu, Calif. In true family fashion, the youngest generation looks less than thrilled to be there, while Mom and Grandma are all big smiles and glowing skin. Fans couldn’t help but weigh in on the family portrait — and on that toned tummy.
“Wow she is just fabulous and amazing,” wrote one fan on Instagram. “Not your grandmother’s grandma,” another agreed. The Internet even managed to come up with an excuse: “Hello Grandmother she got perfect DNA that’s why Jada is like that self-explanatory..”
Grandma fans won’t be surprised to learn that Banfield-Jones was remarried last year with her daughter and son-in-law by her side. There aren’t too many brides who would let someone else wear white to their wedding, so this photo is proof that Jada and Adrienne are clearly mother-daughter goals.

Banfield-Jones got social media buzzing in 2014 when she was pictured in a bathing suit and showed off a very enviable bikini body. “Willow took this shot of her grandmother, my mother, emerging from the ocean today. She is 61! I wanna be her when I grow up,” Jada explained. At the time, no one could believe a 61-year-old looked like that in a bikini. Three years later, Grandma has apparently still got it.
If there’s such a thing as a Mother’s Day resolution, we now have one: more ab workouts.
