Jacksonville police investigating Crestview Drive shooting

JACKSONVILLE, Ark. – The Jacksonville Police Department is investigating a Thursday afternoon shooting that left one man injured.

Authorities said officers responded to the 200 block of Crestview Drive around 2:07 p.m. in reference to a shooting.

When they arrived, officers said they found a man who had been shot. They said he was taken to a local hospital for treatment.

JPD officials did not state the victim’s status.

Police have not released any suspect or victim information at this time.
