After months of debate, we will have an answer to the multi-billion-dollar question Tuesday evening.

If the early voting trend continues, then expect to see a significant turnout at various polling locations.

The Jackson County and Kansas City election board staff will be on high alert today. You can help them—and yourself—out by doing a little prep work before casting your ballot.

That includes:

  • Going to your specific polling location.

  • Having the correct form of ID: driver’s license, military ID or U.S. passport.

If you do not have any of those forms of ID but are registered to vote, you’ll be given a provisional ballot.

The majority of voters will have to answer the question about the stadium sales tax. Roughly a third of voters will have additional races to vote on.

To find out what those are, download a sample ballot from your local election office.
