Pumpkin carving doesn't have to be a messy, time-consuming headache. 

Reddit user LisaShuBop had an ingenious idea for the lazy pumpkin carver when she shared this photo of a jack-o'-lantern with a tiny smile.

While pumpkins have long been a medium for some truly impressive artwork and are no longer exclusive to pumpkins, the internet is certainly lacking in minimalist jack-o'-lanterns.

This tiny carving is so effortless, it might be time to stock up on pumpkins and create a whole family of these little guys.
