Tindley admitted in a previous guilty plea that he distributed 83 grams of cocaine in Watertown on May 25, 2021, and set up a delivery for a larger quantity of meth later the same day.

Police pulled over a vehicle driven by a coconspirator of Tindley as it entered Watertown on the evening of May 25, 2021.

When police searched the vehicle they found 904 grams of meth and around a pound of marijuana.

At the time of Tindley’s arrest, he was living in Watertown for a mandated pre-sentence drug rehabilitation program coming from a guilty plea to a felony drug charge out of Tompkins County in October 2022. As part of that offense, Tindley was sentenced to serve two years in state prison.
