Italian Firefighters Rescue Stranded Residents Amid Flooding in Sardinia

Italian firefighters rescued several people isolated by flooding in Sardinia on November 14, during storms that forced the closure of schools and public buildings in Cagliari.

Cagliari’s city council issued a yellow code warning for several areas due to the risk of flooding. Schools and public buildings were ordered closed on November 15 so they could be checked for structural damage following the inclement weather.
