ISS Astronauts Will Watch 'The Last Jedi'—IN SPACE
However thrilled you may be to see Star Wars: The Last Jedi, there is no way your plans can live up to seeing the film in space. That's what the astronauts aboard the ISS are planning to do, as Disney confirmed to space flight reporter Robin Seemangal earlier this week.
I received confirmation from Disney and NASA sources that the crew aboard the International Space Station will be screening Star Wars: The Last Jedi.

NASA later confirmed. “[I] can confirm the crew will be able to watch it on orbit,” Dan Huot, NASA's Public Affairs Officer, told Inverse. “Don’t have a definitive timeline yet. They typically get movies as digital files and can play them back on a laptop or a standard projector that is currently aboard.”
The ISS has a fairly extensive library of films, which crew members can watch on laptops or their projector. This projector was shown off in 2015 by astronaut Scott Kelly, who took a photo of the crew watching Gravity in orbit, a film we are not sure we'd want to watch before going out for our daily space walk.

Now all the ISS crew needs to do is avoid spoilers until the film is delivered - one problem that's as relevant in space as anywhere else with an internet connection.
