Israelis react after Iran's overnight attack

STORY: Israel reported modest damage and reopened its airspace after Iran launched an unprecedented direct attack on Israeli territory, after the military said it shot down almost all of the more than 300 drones and missiles launched by Iran.

In the streets of Jerusalem, where Iranian weapons and interceptors could be seen flashing over its skies at night, Israelis expressed vigilance after an attack which further escalated the Middle East conflict.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu vowed his country would achieve victory after the Iranian attack, but Israel's response remained unclear.
