Israeli media reports death of Ariel Sharon

JERUSALEM (AP) — Israeli media is reporting that former Prime Minister Ariel Sharon, who has been in a coma since a debilitating stroke eight years ago, has died at 85. The hospital where he has been receiving treatment will hold a news conference shortly.
