Russian forces hit a recreation center in Cherkaska Lozova near Kharkiv with two Iskander missiles on May 19, killing six people and injuring 16 others, according to Serhiy Bolvinov, head of Kharkiv's State Police Investigation Department, as reported by Suspilne.

Russia used terrorist tactics, striking a second blow 15-20 minutes after the first in nearly the same location. As a result, a paramedic and a police officer who had come to assist the victims of the first strike were injured.

Serhiy Bolvinov stated that since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, there had never been a military presence in the area, and at the time of the attack, only civilians were at the base.

"The area is overgrown, so we have divided the entire territory of the base into squares and, together with the State Emergency Service, are checking to ensure there are no more casualties. For example, one of the victims died 100 meters from the base while fishing — he was hit directly in the heart by shrapnel," Bolvinov said.
