Iron Rose FC to unveil inaugural home jersey

(FOX40.COM) — As Iron Rose FC’s first-ever match approaches, the Roseville team is organizing a party for the unveiling of its home jersey for its inaugural season and reminding the public that they can help choose the away jersey.

The team, which will play in the Women’s Premiere Soccer League, will reveal the jersey at Crooked Lane Brewery, a woman-owned business based out of nearby Auburn, on April 5 at 5 p.m.

The reveal party is open to all with an RSVP at this link, and the address is 536 Grass Valley Highway.

A statement from the team said its home jersey will be available for purchase in limited supplies to season ticket holders and that pre-orders will be available for everyone else.

The public can also vote on the design of the team’s inaugural away jersey at this link.

In the lead-up to the team’s first match in May, the team has been building up its roster and coaching staff, with some significant announcements in March.

The team will meet its first opponent, San Francisco Elite Soccer Club, at an away match on May 11, with the home opener on May 18 against BattleBorn FC from Northern Nevada. Home games will be played at West Park High School.

Molly Branigan, a native of Roseville and former member of the UC Davis women’s soccer team, was the first player signed with Iron Rose FC. Since then, others have been signed, including some with local ties.

The team also announced additions to its coaching staff and the full 2024 schedule, which will wrap up in late June.
