Gwyneth Paltrow's Pepper Potts gets into the action in "Iron Man 3," and the actress enjoyed every minute.

"I really have to say I loved doing the action sequences and I loved doing the stunts," Gwyneth told Access Hollywood's Kit Hoover on Tuesday in Los Angeles. "I loved hanging upside down and flipping around and I thought it was... I mean it was so new to me. I've never really done anything like that before and I loved it."

Another person in her family loved it all too - Gwyneth's son, Moses Martin, 7.

"Are you the coolest mom on the planet? Did you bring your son on set?" Kit asked.

"If I am not the coolest mom at this point, I don't know what else I can do," Gwyneth said. "I mean, I have my own Lego, I mean, [I'm in] 'Iron Man,' I wear the suit, if he doesn't like me now, then I give up."

Gwyneth said her son lit up on the set of the film -- especially when he saw mom in her own Pepper Potts "Iron Man" suit.

"He was so excited. His face -- I'll never forget it -- 'cause when I walked out to meet him and I was wearing the whole suit and his little face was just like -- he was amazed," she raved. "I mean, that is cool, you know? He loves 'Avengers' and 'Iron Man 1 & 2' and now I'm in the suit, like it's pretty good."

"Iron Man 3" opens May 3.
