‘Iron Fist’ EP Scott Buck Set To Showrun Marvel’s ‘The Inhumans’ For ABC

Marvel is keeping it in the family, tapping Netflix’s Iron Fist executive producer/showrunner Scott Buck as writer/executive producer/showrunner of Marvel’s The Inhumans, set to premiere on ABC in fall 2017.

ABC gave the green light to the live-action TV series last month. As part of that deal, the first two episodes of the superhero series will debut on Imax screens exclusively for two weeks ahead of the fall premiere on the broadcast network, which will feature some additional content not included in the two hours exhibited in theaters.

The Inhumans are a race of superhumans with diverse and singularly unique powers, introduced in Marvel Comics by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby in 1965. The TV series will explore the never-before-told epic adventure of Black Bolt and the royal family.

The 13-episode first season of Marvel’s Iron Fist series starring Finn Jones is slated to premiere March 17 on Netflix.

Buck’s previous credits also include Dexter, Rome and Six Feet Under.
