Iran Says It Duped MI6
Iran's nuclear program is of such interest to the west that MI6 have allegedly sent James Bond himself spies to try and gather information about the country's closely-guarded, top secret nuclear program. But Iran says it was able to trick Her Majesty's secret service.

Fereydoon Abbasi (pictured), the head of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran, told Al Hayat (quoted by the New York Times' Rick Gladstone and Christine Hauser) they've been feeding false information to people they knew were spies for the British Government:
Accusing the British intelligence service, MI6, of spying on Iran’s nuclear program, Mr. Abbasi was quoted as saying: “We presented false information sometimes in order to protect our nuclear position and our achievements, as there is no other choice but to mislead foreign intelligence.” He also was quoted as saying that “sometimes we present a weakness that we do not in fact really have, and sometimes we appear to have power without having it.”
Abbasi was speaking at an International Atomic Energy Agency meeting in Vienna. He didn't elaborate on what they lied about, or to what extent. How effective the country's deception has been is also unclear. At the same meeting, Abbasi revealed two of Iran's nuclear bases were attacked recently.
