ACADIA PARISH, La. (KLFY) — An Iowa, La. man was killed in a single-vehicle crash on I-10 Wednesday night, authorities said

The crash took the life of 23-year-old Adrian Rubio Pascual of Iowa.

Louisiana State Police Troop I was notified just after 10:30 p.m. Wednesday of a single-vehicle crash on I-10 near mile marker 78. State Police said the crash occurred as Pascual was driving a 2007 Chevrolet Impala eastbound on I-10 when, for reasons still under investigation, the Impala exited the roadway to the right, entered the ditch and overturned several times.

Troopers said Pascual was ejected from the vehicle and was pronounced dead at the scene by the Acadia Parish Coroner’s Office. A toxicology sample was obtained for analysis, and this crash remains under investigation.
