Apple partner says new Maps app in iOS 6 is terrible [updated]

Following its announcement of the iPhone 5, Apple (AAPL) on Wednesday announced the availability of iOS 6. The Cupertino-based company’s latest mobile operating system will be available for download on September 19th for owners of the iPhone 4S, iPhone 4, iPhone 3GS, iPad 2 and the new iPad. Apple announced iOS 6 at its Worldwide Developer Conference in June, the operating system includes more than 200 new features such as 3D maps, Passbook and an improved Siri voice assistant.
