Investigators search for vehicle after central Fresno fire

FRESNO, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – The Fresno Fire Department released new images on Tuesday of a vehicle they believe could be linked to a fire in central Fresno on Monday.

Investigators say the grass fire started on Monday afternoon near Shields and Bryant Avenues around 2:30 p.m.

The suspect vehicle is pictured below.

There were a total of seven apparatus and a total of 15 personnel on the scene.

According to firefighters, the fire was a vegetation fire. None of the fire reached surrounding structures and there were no injuries to firefighters or civilians.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
