Interstate 81 South reopened after tractor-trailer crash in Wythe County

WYTHE COUNTY, Va. (WFXR) – VDOT reports that Interstate 81 South in Wythe County has been reopened after a tractor-trailer crash.

Tractor-trailer ignites into flames on I-77 in Carroll County, no injuries

All lanes of traffic are now moving normally.

WYTHE COUNTY, Va. (WFXR) – The Virginia Department of Transportation reports there is currently a tractor-trailer accident on Interstate 81 South near mile marker 70.2 in Wythe County.

Traffic is currently backed up around 1 mile and the right southbound shoulder is closed. Drivers can expect delays until further notice while crews work to clear the scene.
