Interstate 5 traffic backed up south of Redding due to collision

Southbound Interstate 5 traffic is backed just north of the Riverside Avenue off-ramp due to a two-vehicle collision, the California Highway Patrol said.

The collision was reported around 3:25 p.m. Wednesday on the freeway south of Redding, the CHP’s Traffic Incident Information Page said.

There are no reported injuries, the CHP said.
