International Space Station visible from Quad Cities tonight

With clear skies we’ll have a good chance to see the ISS tonight in the Quad Cities.

It’ll pass over between 7:56 and 8:02 Monday night.

The max elevation will be 31° and it will show up in the Western sky and disappear in the NE sky.

You’ll want to look for what looks like a star moving slowly across the sky. (No blinking lights like planes have.)

Even though it looks like it’s moving slowly, it’s travelling about 17,000 miles per hour or 5 miles per second!
