COLUMBUS, Ga. (WRBL) — A local ministry is holding a fundraising luncheon in just a couple weeks.

International Friendship Ministries (IFM) was formed back in 1997 by Ron Collins and Caroline Collins. The ministry aims to reach out to the international community, many whom are stationed at Fort Moore.

IFM offers English as a Second Language courses and also sponsors an Arts Academy for children of the international community. Each year, the ministry reaches over 100 nations from across the globe without leaving the Fountain City.

One major way the ministry aims to serve Columbus is through its annual fundraising luncheon. This year, it’ll be at St. Luke Ministry Center on March 26 at 11:30 a.m. Special guest Stephen Kendrick of Kendrick Brothers, who has been producing Christian movies for over 20 years, is set to speak at this year’s event.

Director Ron Collins came by WRBL on Tuesday afternoon to tell us more. That full interview is in the video player above.
