Inspiring teen who survived the Manchester attack is live-tweeting her recovery

Millie Robinson is just 15 and had her dreams come true when she met her idol Adriana Grande before her concert at Manchester Arena on Monday. That dream became a nightmare when a bomb went off just as Millie walking out of the arena to meet her dad.

The impact of the shrapnel wounded her legs, and she had to undergo surgery for the "holes" created by the shell. But Millie is so generous and open-hearted that, although she was seriously injured, she told paramedics to "go and see other people who were more injured than her," according to her mum Marie

Since she was hospitalised she's been documenting the experience on Twitter and the tweets are uplifting to say the least:

Her love to Adriana Grande is intact:

She also updated her followers on her surgery and recovery:

Which fortunately went well!

Millie also posted a really cute selfie with her dad, who on the night of the attack rushed to her aid and tried to stop bleeding from her legs with jumpers and other items, before running outside.

And she even met the Queen!

Millie was wearing her Adriana Grande T-shirt, and the Queen asked her if she enjoyed the concert.

You can watch their sweet exchange here:

So sweet. Wishing you speedy recovery Millie.
