Pamper Your Pumpkin with a Marbleized Mani

Inspired by the beauty of marbleized paper, nail polish and water is all your pumpkins will need to get their swirl on. Line them up in an entryway, pile them in a big bowl for a centerpiece or put them on holiday plates for table setting décor. Best yet, they make the perfect post-party swag.

Materials:

  • White mini-pumpkins

  • Various bottles of nail polish in any color combinations

  • Large plastic/tin bucket or tub

  • Luke warm water to fill tub halfway (not too hot!)

  • Long wooden stick

Instructions:

1. Fill the tub ¾ full with lukewarm water; pour polishes in one at a time.
2. If they sink to the bottom, the water is too hot. Let it cool off a bit and try again. (A good reason to use a cheap plastic bowl, in case you need to start over!)
3. The polishes should swirl on the surface. Using your stick, swirl the polish around the tub.
4. With your hand on one half the pumpkin, dunk the other half in the polish mixture, swirl it around and quickly pull it out and set it to dry on some paper.
