When the apocalypse comes – whether it’s in the form of a nuclear war, or an asteroid strike – hundreds of families have paid to avoid dying in the cities alongside the rest of us.

Instead, they’ll be in South Dakota – or at least 5,000 well-heeled survivors will be, in what’s billed as the largest private shelter community on Earth.

Vivos xPoint is a sprawling bunker complex spread over 18 square miles – 100 miles from the nearest military nuclear targets.

It’s not cheap, though, with a bunker costing $25,000, plus $1,000 ground rent per year – plus the costs of actually furnishing the things.

Vivos showed off a concept of bunkers with video panels on the wall – showing an outdoor scene.

Vivos says, ‘The Black Hills Army Base was originally built by the Army Corps of Engineers as a fortress to store bombs and munitions, from 1942 to 1967, when the base was retired.
