Inquiry follows death of baby in Leominster

LEOMINSTER — The death of a four-month-old baby is being investigated by Worcester County District Attorney Joseph Early Jr.’s office and state Department of Children and Families.

The baby died May 14.

Early's office confirmed it has an ongoing investigation into the death. The Department of Children and Families received a report and is investigating, according to a Department of Children and Families spokesperson.

Due to state and federal privacy requirements, there is no further information, according to the Department of Children and Families.
