Warner Bros. has revealed Injustice 2’s first three upcoming DLC characters in a new teaser trailer.

DC villain Red Hood and superheroine Starfire make their first appearances as playable characters in Injustice 2. Mortal Kombat’s Sub-Zero will also join the roster. His archnemesis Scorpion appeared in the first game as a DLC character.

While we only get a glimpse of each character in the trailer, the end of the video shows a handful of silhouettes, hinting at other potential DLC characters. Two of those silhouettes appear to be Black Manta (one of Aquaman’s villains) and Mortal Kombat’s Raiden.

Injustice 2 director Ed Boon recently hinted at the possibility of returning characters as DLC, specifically mentioning Ares. However, none of the shadowy figures appear to be Ares, at least not in his most recent form from Injustice: Gods Among Us.

Fighter Pack 1’s characters are included in the Injustice 2 Deluxe Edition and Ultimate Edition versions of the game. The Ultimate Edition gives players access to a total of nine DLC characters, which would likely mean three Fighter Packs total.

Red Hood, Starfire, and Sub-Zero are still in development and will release after the game launches on May 16 for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

In related news, The Joker was officially revealed for Injustice 2 last week after an achievement list appeared to leak his appearance in the game.
