Twitter users drew up a list of the causes that could have resulted in its death.

It could have died of a heart attack after seeing a gun.

It perhaps succumbed to diabetes.

It might not have been able to bear the pangs of separation.

The weather might have been responsible.

It might have been tortured with the actor's films.

It committed suicide because it couldn't stand rejection.

And finally, a poll was run to understand how the black buck died.

Poaching has been rampant in India in the last few years and Salman Khan, along with other Bollywood names like Saif Ali Khan, Sonali Bendre, Tabu and Neelam have been charged in the case filed in 1998.
