Indiana man wanted for vehicular homicide arrested in Fayette County

GAULEY BRIDGE, WV (WVNS) — A man wanted for multiple counts of Vehicular Homicide in Indiana was arrested in Fayette County, West Virginia.

According to a press release from the U.S. Marshals Service, members of the U.S. Marshals Southern District of West Virginia Cops United Felony Fugitive Enforcement Division (CUFFED) Task Force and Fayette County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested 59-year-old Glen Franklin Dent, of Munice, Indiana, in the Gauley Bridge area just after 7:45 PM on Monday, April 1, 2024.

Connecticut man sentenced in Mercer County for a crime involving a minor

The press release stated Dent was wanted for three counts of Vehicular Homicide, among other charges in Madison County, Indiana. Dent allegedly killed one man and injured multiple other people in a DUI crash that happened on August 10, 2021.

Dent has been evading arrest since August 2022.

Dent was wanted and charged with three counts of Vehicular Homicide, three counts of Causing Death While Operating a Motor Vehicle While Intoxicated, three counts of Causing Serious Bodily Injury While Operating a Motor Vehicle While Intoxicated, Possession of Cocaine, and Carrying a Handgun without a License

Members of the U.S. Marshals Great Lakes Regional Fugitive Task Force, the U.S. Marshals CUFFED Task Force, and the Fayette County Sheriff’s Office helped in the investigation.
