Beijing, Oct 31(ANI): A disciplined bowling attack by Indian eves helped them secure a thumping 18 runs win over archrivals Pakistan in the final of the Women's Twenty20 Asia Cup in Guangzhou, China. Pakistan managed to make a total of 63 runs while chasing India's score of 81 runs before being bowled out with 5 balls remaining, the Express Tribune reports. Pakistan had earlier won the toss and chose to field, with India ending the innings at 81 runs. Punam Raut played a crucial knock of 25 in difficult conditions, while Nagarajan Niranjana picked up two wickets. India captain Mitali Raj said: "So happy for the girls even though I'm disappointed not to have played because of my ankle. Winning this Asia Cup is a great achievement and what's been special is how our team has become like a family over the years, everyone contributes and plays for each other."
