Pictures of HTC’s first Windows Phone 8 device emerge

HTC (2498) obviously wants to make a big splash with its Windows Phone 8 smartphones this fall and is planning to launch three Windows Phone 8 devices overall: the entry-level Rio, the mid-range Accord and flagship Zenith. XDA-Developers member Football posted a render of the Accord on his Twitter account Friday and claimed that the device will be equipped with a 4.3-inch 1280 x 720 pixel resolution HD display, a 1.5GHz dual-core Snapdragon S4 processor, an 8-megapixel rear camera, NFC and a microSD slot, and will come with either 8GB or 16GB of internal storage. HTC is rumored to announce its latest Windows Phone 8 devices at an event scheduled for the third week of September.
