Illinois moves to reform state prison board

Illinois Senate Republicans are calling for sweeping reforms to the state prison board.

Two Illinois Prisoner Review Board members stepped down last week, coming after a board vote to grant parole to a man who killed an 11-year-old boy and stabbed his pregnant mother a day after his release. Our Quad Cities News Illinois Capitol Bureau correspondent Theodora Koulouvaris breaks down the proposal.
