Idris Elba's sporting ambition

Idris Elba wants to appear in a sports film.
The 38-year-old actor is currently training for a charity boxing match in aid of Sport Relief and says the experience has given him a desire to repeat the experiences in a movie.
He said: "I'd like to do a sports film. I've just signed on to do a fight for Sport Relief.
"I'm going to train as a boxer and then have a fight with someone comparable to me - not an actor - for charity.
"I'm going to be filmed between now and then while I'm training. I'm excited about but I'm 38 years old so, 'What are you doing?' springs to mind.
"But doing this has made me want to do a film about sport. Boxing, or even like my friend Tom Hardy in 'Warrior'."
Idris can next been seen in 'Prometheus' and though he hailed director Ridley Scott for making a "genius" movie, he refused to give any details about the film.
He said: "It went well. I had an amazing time with the cast. I am sworn to secrecy but the point is it's good - it really is Ridley's return to the sci-fi genre. You're going to be flabbergasted.
"He's a genius and I'd love to work with him again."
