Hurricanes slated for Black Friday noon game; will host Texas A&M in the afternoon

The Hurricanes will provide Miami football fans with entertainment while they are digesting their Thanksgiving meal or recuperating from Black Friday shopping.

Miami will face Boston College at noon on Nov. 24, the day after Thanksgiving, the ACC announced Wednesday. The Miami Dolphins also play on Black Friday as they take on the Jets in New York at 3 p.m.

The ACC also announced three other UM kickoff times.

The Hurricanes’ regular-season finale in Boston will be broadcast on ABC.

UM’s season opener at against Miami (Ohio) will be played at 7 p.m. The ACC Network will broadcast the game from Hard Rock Stadium.

Miami hosts Texas A&M on Sept. 9 in a rematch of last year’s defeat in College Station, Texas. ABC will broadcast the game, which will kick off at 3:30 p.m.

The Hurricanes will have a short week after their showdown with the Aggies, hosting Bethune-Cookman on Sept. 14 at 7:30. The ACC Network will broadcast the game.

The ACC will announce the kickoff times and broadcasters for the remaining eight games on Miami’s schedule during the season.
