Hurricanes goalie prospect can't stop scoring goals
Empty-net goals are usually no big deal. Depositing a puck into a vacant cage is not something to get overly excited about.
However, when it’s a goaltender aiming from approximately 200 feet out, such attempts transform into the most exciting few seconds in hockey. And when that puck does find the back of the net, it certainly calls for the most glorious of celebrations.

That’s Alex Nedeljkovic of the Charlotte Checkers dropping down on one knee and just letting it rip.
His goal should be a surprise to absolutely nobody, though. The Carolina Hurricanes prospect has a proven knack for finding the back of the net; he accomplished the very same thing in the ECHL playing for the Florida Everblades.

The former American World Junior netminder has now proven that his goal-scoring ability is no fluke. Needless to say, Nedeljkovic is a threat anytime the puck is on his stick. Opposing teams beware, you are only one flick of the wrist away from being Nedeljkovic’d.
Surely he’ll earn a call-up with the Hurricanes sooner than later.
