Huntsville Police Department investigator charged with DUI

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) — A Huntsville Police Department (HPD) investigator was charged with driving under the influence, a department spokesperson told News 19.

According to jail records, Michael Riley Denoon was arrested by HPD on Friday after midnight and booked into the Madison County Jail on a DUI charge. HPD said the incident happened while Denoon was off duty.

Man accused of stabbing missing person in 2022 indicted for capital murder

An HPD spokesperson said that Denoon is an investigator with the department.

Jail records show Denoon bonded out of the jail on Friday afternoon.
