Hunter Ball leads after Round 1 of Professional Bull Riders event at Santander Arena

Feb. 10—The Professional Bull Riders returned to Santander Arena on Friday night with the opening round of a two-night, three-round competition.

Hunter Ball from Carsonville, Michigan earned the highest score of Round 1, registering an 88.5 atop Flashbang.

Schuylkill County native and Blue Mountain graduate Grayson Cole is currently tied for second after scoring an 86.5 atop Grande Patron. Cole is tied with Brandon Chambers, who also scored an 86.5 with his ride of Game Day.

Thirty-five riders competed in Round 1 on Friday night, with nine completing qualified, eight-second rides. The event will continue with the second round and third rounds on Saturday at 7 p.m.

The top 10 riders will advance to the final round. Cole is the defending event winner.
