Hunger donation, Earth Day
Apr. 17—Market Street is donating 4,960 pounds of apples to the West Texas Food Bank for their Take a Bite Out of Hunger Campaign.
The event is scheduled for 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the West Texas Food Bank, 411 S. Pagewood Ave., Odessa
The Food Bank also is partnering with Keep Midland Beautiful for an Earth Day event from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the West Texas Food Bank-Midland, 1601 Westcliff Drive. They are giving away 200 trees and tomato plants. There will be vendors for kids to talk to about keeping the Earth safe and to get fun, free items.
