Hundreds of Foreign Workers Evacuated From Tripoli, Libyan Red Crescent Reports

A media body tied to Khalifa Haftar’s Libyan National army (LNA) shared video on April 11 said to show the evacuation of foreign workers trapped in Tripoli, where fighting between LNA forces and militias tied to the interim government was ongoing.

The video shows men, some barefoot, running in the streets, accompanied by armored vehicles and fighters. The men can be heard saluting the LNA and shouting, “We are safe.” Some of the men shouting at the end of the video spoke Egyptian accent.
