Hull man arrested, charged with child porn possession

A 69-year-old Hull man was arrested on three charges related to child pornography Tuesday.

Local, state and federal law enforcement officers took James Tucker into custody at Boston Logan International Airport as he disembarked a flight from Florida around 5:40 p.m.

A week prior, investigators obtained and executed a search warrant at Tucker’s home on Driftway Avenue, according to a news release. Tucker was not home at the time.

Hull police officers and members of the U.S. Secret Service New England Cyber Fraud Task Force took from Tucker’s home hard drives, thumb drives and other pieces of evidence during the early morning search.

Later that day, Hull police called Tucker and informed him of the search. They learned at that time he would be returning to Massachusetts on Tuesday.

Massachusetts State Police detectives and the Plymouth County Sheriff's Office Warrant Apprehension Unit were also part of the team that arrested Tucker. At that time, officials also took Tucker’s cell phone as evidence.

He was transported to the Hull Police Department and booked on charges of possession of child pornography, dissemination of child pornography and photographing an unsuspecting nude person. Tucker was held on $25,040 bond until his arraignment in Hingham District Court on Wednesday.

Law enforcement officers continue to investigate.
