Hugh Jackman and Zac Efron take Broadway to the streets of New York

The Late Late Show With James Corden brought one of its best segments, “Crosswalk the Musical,” to the streets of New York City. Host James Corden is known for doing this segment near his studio in Los Angeles, but the streets of New York are a whole different ballgame. So, to assist him with the big feat, Corden enlisted fellow musical pros and Greatest Showman stars Hugh Jackman, Zac Efron, and Zendaya.

The group risked their lives as they took to the busy tourist- and taxi-congested streets to perform segments of a few different musicals, like On the Town and Guys and Dolls, each time putting on a production in the crosswalk in the seconds they were given. Once the light turned red, the group ran as fast as they could out of the street and onto the sidewalk.

They also performed a song from their new film, The Greatest Showman, in which Corden hilariously dressed up as the “Bearded Woman.” And when it came to the big finale, the group held nothing back as they performed the most epic version of Fame we have ever seen.

The Late Late Show with James Corden airs weeknights at 12:37 a.m. on CBS.
