How to Remove Pesky Glitter Nail Polish!
Sweltering and Sunny Summers are here and you know what that means- YAYY! It’s time to apply a whole new range of poppy, quirky and glittery shades on our nails. (I just can’t wait- LA LA LA!)
After all, while we are pouring with sweat through this sunny season, we DEFINITELY want something to cheer us up, RIGHT?
Get a manicure-ALSO, those SEXY nail extensions and apply sparkly nail polish like the next girl! (I always do so.. and what about, YOU?)
But I’ve always had a hitch trying in the process to remove these glittery shades -WITHOUT making a jumble, splintering my nails..NOOO!!
Such a pain, to remove THOSE chunky glitter shades with the nail polish remover- OOHHH, I just HATE it! (utter wastage of cotton balls, EERRGGH! ) I wonder, it seemed like a wasted of time to even apply it!! (LOL..HA HA)
But fortunately, I discovered the following ideas(LISTED below!! Wish would have come across them earlier.. HMMM!)
BUFF YOUR NAILS TO A SHINY FINISH
Glitter polishes are made with a glue-like formula which seals the glitter into the polish- YEAH! That’s why, it just don’t flake away & is very difficult to remove- EEEEWW!
So, a super HIGH-SIDED BUFF makes it harder for the polish to cohere, AND thus makes it easy to remove. (It really helps…I always do so!)
DIPPING, THE COTTON BALLS IN NAIL POLISH REMOVER!
So really need to do this -YEAH! As the glittery and sparky shades are so absurd and strong to remove. (They’ll literally cling to the nails for as long as it can!)
Acetone, may be used as an alternative- but YES, it should be avoided. ( As it rips off the natural oils, making the nails harsh AND brittle!)
MAKE YOUR NAILS ARMOUR!
Grab an aluminum foil ( as YOUR nail armor)YES girls, strip a sheet of it three times—the size of your cotton ball or pads. After that, place the saturated cotton pad on your finger nail. (Simply stick it on your finger, the way you LIKE!)
WRAPPING THE FOIL, ROUND YOUR FINGER!
Wrap it so stiffly (probably like a ROCK)and simply WAIT for 10-15 minutes. This polish will work slowly and loosen the glitter on your nails—helping you to wipe it off smoothly in a SINGLE swipe!! (YEAH, you won’t believe..but yes it does!)
(If the glitter is stony, AND the flakes are gritty-RELAX, don’t worry! Wait for some few more minutes to see how it WORKS!)
UNDO THE FILE—SWIPE THE COTTON BALLS ACROSS THE NAILS!
Remove the foil and with one swift movement, DRAG the cotton ball across & off your fingernails – removing off all the GLITTER!! (just cant believe it.. AWESOME, isn’t it?) YEAH, it works!!
If you’re not satisfied and still some leftover glitter remnants are visible-(Dont Worry..we still have a SOLUTION!!!)
Take a cotton pad or ball (applied with a bit of nail remover-YES) Rub it- slowly and swiftly, wiping off the remaining glitters! AND, you’re sorted!
AN ALTERNATIVE—GLUE WILL ALSO WORK!
Paint your nails with a glue (white glue and, NOT the normal glue—please..A big NOOO!) Make sure to let it dry completely. It looks kind of weird-YEAH, But trust me, it’ll show WONDERS!
On the top of this white layer, apply a layer of glitter polish of your choosing, AND let it dry completely.
After drying, snatch up a cuticle pusher to lift up the edge of the nail polish. THEN, just continue to peel the polish off. (It’ll come out mostly in one piece.. repeat the process with all the nails)
HYDRATE AND REPAIR
Make sure to was your hands properly with soap and water– YES, (to remove the leftover glue/ stickiness of the nail polish remover)
You don’t wanna spoil and damage your beautiful nails—RIGHT, girls?
If your nails feel a little more sensitive THAN usual, apply OLIVE OIL(or any strengthening treatment coat)or oil into the cuticles.
But there you have it, CHICKAS! A hassle free way of applying and removing the glittery polish so damn EASILY!
