How do technology and college intersect? Share your #BornDigital thoughts

Eighteen-year-old freshmen heading to college this fall have never known a world without the Internet.

They were born in the mid-'90s, and technological innovations that we've come to rely on today — the Web, iPhones, Facebook, Dropbox, tablets and more — have shaped their personalities, study habits and relationships.

Yahoo News is interested in learning how you — whether you’re 18 or 80 — see the challenges and opportunities facing this born-digital generation, particularly how you think digital natives will fare in college.

We're inviting you to create memes that illustrate college life today. Below are a few examples to get you started.

We will feature our readers' funniest and most poignant submissions in a live Google+ panel discussion on Thursday, during a Yahoo Studios event on Friday, on our Tumblr and anywhere else it makes sense.

Here’s how you can participate:

1. Head over to imgflip.com/memegenerator/ and create your own meme. The site has common stock meme photos, but you can also upload your own image. Add either #BornDigitalProblems or #BornDigitalLife to your meme's text, depending on your idea.

2. Send us your meme for possible publication: Email us at contributor-news@yahoo-inc.com (include your name so we can credit you) or tweet us at @yahoonews or post to Tumblr with the hashtag #borndigital
