House fire claims 1 life in Northeast Park Hill: Denver Fire Department

DENVER (KDVR) — A structure fire that the Denver Fire Department responded to on Sunday has turned deadly, the agency reported Monday.

The fire was reported at a single-story house near 35th Avenue and Krameria Street, which is in the Northeast Park Hill neighborhood. One person was removed from the home and taken by Denver Health paramedics to the hospital.

On Monday, the agency reported that one person died from the fire.

Fire investigators were responding on Sunday to investigate the cause. As of 8:15 p.m. on Sunday, the fire was reported to be under control.
