Hot temperatures to peak Thursday, cooling trend begins Sunday

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — Sunny skies today with temperatures in the 90’s. Bakersfield can expect to hit 94 this afternoon.

The 90’s will hang around until Saturday and then a cooling trend will be in place Sunday Wednesday when we fall back in the mid to upper 80’s in the Valley. No major weather systems expected in Kern County for the next 7 days.
