Horizon School honors its Class of 2024 Coyotes

Horizon School celebrated its Class of 2024 at graduation Wednesday afternoon at Palm Desert High School.

Nathan Marth led the Pledge of Allegiance and LeVanna Mora performed the national anthem. Brenda Ramos delivered the senior address. Of the 83 students who graduated, seven received summa cum laude honors and six graduated cum laude.

"As this era is coming to an end, you may hear people ask the typical questions, 'What are you doing after high school or when are you going to college?' A lot of us can have an answer to these questions, but a lot of us also may not and feel lost," Ramos said. "This is actually one of the building stages of finding yourself. Most of the people in your life have likely felt stuck before, too. That's just how we grow as people and as human beings."
