New Hope Children’s Clinic preps for casino night fundraiser

MADISON COUNTY, Ala. (WHNT) — If you can’t make a trip out to Las Vegas any time soon, New Hope Children’s Clinic (NHCC), a partner agency of the United Way of Madison County, wants to bring Vegas to you, and it’s all for a good cause!

NHCC is a school-based pediatrician’s office that aims to provide local, low-cost health care for children in southeast Madison County and surrounding communities. The clinic is located on the grounds of New Hope Elementary School in Madison County.

Staff are working to ensure that every child has access to quality health care regardless of their family’s financial situation.

In less than three weeks, NHCC will host an annual fundraising event to raise money for its cause.

According to NHCC executive director Cindi Williamson, “Growing Hope Casino Night” will have delicious food, Las Vegas-style games, a virtual silent auction, a raffle and more. In addition to all the fun, NHCC is also hosting a clinic book drive at the event.

NHCC gives one book to each patient that visits the clinic.

They’re asking attendees at the casino night to bring new and gently used books to donate for children ages six months to 13 years.
